1-12 Meal.

My professor at Chennai said he ate sambar Idly and drank filter coffee at mylapore for Rs 2 in early 1950's,
Our netas are taking us to those good old times.

Digvijay of Congress is getting some serious competition now..
Our Neta Raj Babbar, went on to record to say that he can have a full meal for Rs 12
not just Pav vada, but a plate full of rice with 2 curries and sambar, mind you its not in some remote area or some rural india, Its in MUMBAI, the financial Capital of country..
Quickly another Neta at delhi made more sweeping comments by saying you can have a meal in Delhi for Rs 5 near Jama Masjid, that's not all

Our grand old man Farooq from J&K claimed he can get plate meals for Rs 1 at srinagar

This is more than a joke,This is utter ridiculous and stupidity

Our mandate is
"We Vote, they get power and we get mocked"...

Even at Parliament canteen, which is highly subsidized, serves meal at 41..

On lighter side, these netas made us rich...way to go upa..

My good friend said he can't get Chai+Cigarette for 12..

Meanwhile Mcdonald's Launched burger "Mc Babbar", a new burger for Rs 12, inclusive of our laundry list of  national and state taxes

Telegram became History

This is not the first time, I getting  bit moved when i am  hearing a service, which has 150 years old legacy was completely winding up in India and world, I have seen complete shutting down of typewriter manufacturing, which has 140 year old history in world by godrej and boyce in 2011 and incidentally India is last country to manufacture a typewriter.
First came telephone call, closely followed by texts, then a telecom revolution, which drastically brought down communication costs, with email, Facebook and whatsapp etc made services completely free where users communicate unlike telegram which charges an avg of 3/word to 5/word and it is one on one communication tools unlike social and other modern communication tools, but remember telegram has no setup costs unlike email and whatsapp, where there are setup costs, but either way telegram might be costly, when reach matters, math apart, Telegram for many Generation-X and before generations is more than a piece of paper, it holds and carries emotions across country, be it someone in armed forces ,someone joining job, telegram is way for communication with far and loved ones, but one thing that strikes me is why did BSNL write the epitaph to telegram, why can't it handover services back to INDIAN POST and let it run again, like in pre 90's
It is sad to see telegram going into oblivion citing huge operating losses.
How many like me, out there are thinking right now for a moment, i should have sent a telegram yaar..

Che Guevara.. our  Comrade

Ernesto Guevara, our generation know him as Che Guevara
he is a an icon to generation X, not because he smokes weed, not because he was  fighting for rights of some people at latin america, it is because Che Guevara displayed such outrageous bravery and skill at very young age of 39, the man with his uncanny eyes, said before death "Shoot, coward, you're only going to kill a man" it appeared as the man who was holding gun was far in  fearful state, much more than CHE.
He has become ubiquitous: his figure stares out at us from coffee mugs and posters, at rock shows and music operas..

So how to understand, Che Guevara's impact on our generation
EGYPT is on fire, so is TURKEY, i have seen CHE posters amidst some riots.
It would not be exaggerating, if i say some or many in egypt and turkey were inspired by this hero

And i am sure in days to come, he won't just be on our coffee mugs, but will start creating  the fire in us to fight for our rights, and make this world a better place

Youth beats

Well,I finally took a decision to start penning and posting my thoughts, views, feelings and else on  my own blog, Youth beatsan insight of an young Indian, i asked a question to my self, "Why should i start a blog" in this times, where all my friends, family members, people at work are very much connected to micro blogging sites like twitter, facebook, etc, lately it struck to me that, analogue and traditional blogging makes me or any one to feel like a writer or a columnist in own spirit ans space and it also is reflected in one's writings, i have seen that in many instances, and finally i have decided lets give it a try, all my life i used to write articles, poems on micro for my school/college notice boards, in house magazines, journals and also on micro blogging sites , so why not organize the same and post them in one place, and then i came up with  an idea of a blog...
